Nice, good to see a return of the former biggest modding site for OFP (now ArmA CWA), although there's still some stuff missing there and I have been able to download stuff from some Russian backup sites prior to this. Nevertheless, cheers to the fellows at PFC and the still existing OFP fan base (OFP will never die!).

if not there's a patch that reverts ArmaCWA to 1.96 which almost all mods are made for.

Yes! Finally, I've been looking for more sites with ofp addons, ever since gamepark.cz got shut down, i've been on an endless search for a site that hosts community stuff. Thank you!!
will this mod ever be finished ?

Dont think so, but you could try out the far more complete FFUR 2007.

I think FFUR development will never be continued officially, as 2008 was the last official version, but it could be continued unofficially. I know there was a unofficial Russian patch for 2008, but I have no links for it.

i indeed have tried other FFUR 2006 and 2007, i actually liked the 08 the most, i could tinker around the files, change some things, some values and stuff like this, to fix some things, but it wont matter becuse the mod needs more work on the SLX engine and better skins for the diferent roles of the US faction, such as the Granadier, the Squad Machine gunner and the rifleman has all teh same skin, and the black op has a really dum skin and it has no day uniform at all, just like teh vanillagame, they had both night and day uniform, and the ECP they followed this.
If a small team like, 3 people were assembled, one to animate, one to work on the textures, and one to the scripts, we could all work on an unoficial patch, that will be more "complete" as we say, and will work on multiplayer as well. Also, bear in mind, this is not a easy task, to make a mod like this to work on multiplayer, specially something involving The SLX Engine
also, NO-Bean (like the pun haha), i know you are good to deal with mods, should make a team of your won dude

Hey Fox, nope, I have no wish to continue FFUR development myself, nor do I think it's a good pick for multiplayer because of the many performance and compatability issues.

I'm actually working on my own MP oriented mod based on GRAA, which I'm adjusting according to what I like.

However, we did play some FFUR online and it was stable too, I took the older FFUR 85 version and edited it a bit (removed the crashy BMP model, animations, etc). I think this version is the best it gets for MP with FFUR, I'll share if here if I upload the files.
that is actually a good thing to see, and i bet some people here watching this will be looking forward to this in the future

Here's the mod (remove "." in "me.ga" ):

This is FFUR 85 edited for online play. This is the only stable version on a dedicated server.
