They added the bicycle, the bus, and said air based cargo unit with that update; but I can't find anything online about it; so now I am wondering if this is one of those time line slips...
I swear I remember a cargo plane being added with Resistance, and that was a major selling point.

Also there was a shortlived Independence Lost game - OFP spinoff set in East Timor. Promotional material was showing US Marine ships, Sea Knights, Harriers and Super Cobras, but no cargo planes either. The first one was made for VBS (the military version of OFP) - namely the Australian edition (and later US one). IIRC C-130 from VBS was actually a reskinned variant of community C-130 addon (made with author's permission naturally) - just like a lot of VBS stuff.
Thanks for that, I like a bit of detailed history to the game.
The large military fixed wing cargo planes were only able to be used in Resistance and up, I think that's what I'm thinking of here; just remembering it wrong and thinking there was a stock unit.
There is an engine restriction on objects larger than 64 meters in length, but it was still present in ArmA 2, so no difference between CWC and Res.
