To use OFP Monitor:
Download the program, put it into a random folder, start it up.
It should auto detect the servers which are listed below, if not, go to settings >> games >> set up the right path to your ColdWarAssault.exe or also other versions of the game if you use those too.
Under "mod configurations" you can set up your mods, under "master servers" you should tick "update master server list at start", under "chat" you can pick your chat nick name and whether you want to connect to it.
Under "automation" you can put "overwrite master server" which will make the in-game MP browser functional again if you run OFP Monitor in the background.
F5 refreshes the server list and you join a server by right clicking on it and picking "join".
However, know that the game is niche nowadays so there won't be all that many servers and players online and many servers run custom mods.
Don't be surprised if you will see "zero" players online - this is because the game is mainly active around 8 PM, Central European Time (11 AM Pacific Time).
As said, you will also need some custom mods for some server, I personally recommend TUPAS mod for relaxed mil sim playing:
DownloadTupasMod[drive.google.com]
Their site with server IP:
https://steamcommunity.com/groups/TuPaS
It's under "shortcut".
Edit: Nvm, it just doesn't identify that you can type in it. Thanks
