How to copy and paste in Clip editor?
Hi, is it possible to copy and paste notes in Clip editor? For example I made 4 notes on first beat with different volumes and now I would like to copy it to beat 2,3 and 4 with exact volume and pitch settings. I'm not able to select and copy it.

Push copy on the left, then push paste in the other channels.

Alternatively, if you wanted to write to all 4 channels at the same time, you can push the Channel 1 button and make it Channel 4, so that all 4 are edited at the same time. But that's for if you hadn't made the first one yet.

Ah, I think I see what you're saying. There isn't quite a way to directly copy & paste notes (that I know of), however, try this.

Assuming you have a single note in slot 1 (or just a maximum of 4 notes next to each other), and want to put the same note on slot 5,9, and 13.
1.Push copy
2. Select slot 5.
3. Hold the mouse over paste, and select "P. notes at cursor".
Repeat 2-3, but instead of selecting slot 5, pick a different one.

Its quite difficult to write quick arpeggios when I cannot copy all 4 notes on channel 1 to following positions on same channel. I'm also struggling with chord copying. I made chords on ch1 - ch4 on first note of first beat and want it copy to second beat on all channels and transpose it. All copying is clumsy.

To copy just a few notes of a channel you can hold the "Copy" button and choose "Copy current page", then you can go to the screen where you want those copied notes, and pick a place on the "block" by clicking in the grid/noteboard and after that, hold the button "Paste" and choose "Paste notes at cursor."

You can choose the same method to copy/paste sections of notes from a channel to other channels. I agree the program could use a more intuitive selection of notes f ex with where the user just selects the notes they want to copy with a selection marque.
