SNES Styled music in Rytmik?
Hello rytmik peoples. Today I have come to offer (Or direct you to) something pretty cool. Samples in WAV format ripped from SNES games using soundfonts from this website

https://www.williamkage.com/snes_soundfonts/

Now. I can offer samples that I've exported already, or you can do it yourself, And to do that, you'll need the software LMMS. Or anything with an Sf2 loader...(LMMS is just free and comes with an sf2 player). You need to drag the sf2 plugin onto the song editor, and then place a long note on any key you like (assumably C), and then raise the volume by quite a margin so it's not too quiet in rytmik (don't be shy about the volume you can modulate it later in rytmik). And then you just export each sample individually until you've grabbed the whole set.

I'm aware there's tools that allow you to rip everything from a soundfont all at once...but i feel that this method allows you to personalize things much more. My exports are all very long(like 23 seconds), so if you pitch high in rytmik, the sound doesn't cut off.

If you'd like to contact me about further instruction or you want what I've got so far, hit me up here on steam or on discord for a more personal approach. Stoney#6945. It is definitely possible to make great sounding SNES Music in rytmik studio :).

I've currently got:

Earthbound
Terranigma
Chrono Trigger
Tales of Phantasia
Breath of Fire II
Castlevania Dracula X
and Golden Sun.. !

I wonder if they will add a sound pack with 16-bit sounds but I will look into this thanks for the post. Just thinking about it today. Know this post is couple years old but I think I need some audio samples so I hope I'm in the right spot.

hit me up on discord dude I can absolutely help you out, and save you hours of exporting SNES soundfonts into WAV, lol ~Stoney~#6945 I forgot I even made this post as I've long moved onto LMMS for most of my composition needs. Rytmik Studio is still good. Great even but...yeah it's been a long time.
