Tunnel connection

I picked this game up for my grandson. We LOVE it!! However, I have been working a couple hours trying to make a tunnel following the directions I found elsewhere in these posts. It simply won't work. A little frustrated. Isn't there a simple way to make a tunnel? We will continue to play but the tunnel would be an awesome addition to our train park. :)

Sorry about that, which part are you having trouble with?

I'm guessing the train doesn't go through because you weren't able to link the tunnels together?

Yes, continued efforts to link tunnels not working. Placed tunnels back to back. Then left click on first tunnel, then left click on second, but joining does not happen. I'm 69 years old and I simply may not be processing the instructions accurately. Perhaps a small video presentation could help me. Thanks for at least getting back to me. P.S. I managed to take the rocks and construct a rock tunnel of sorts.

Back to back as in next to each other?
That may explain the issue, you can place 2 tunnels anywhere in the level and the train will go in one and emerge from the other no matter how far away they are. Maybe being so close is causing some problem.

Do you see the green line following your mouse after clicking on the first one?

I agree a little presentation would be useful for those more complicated decorations, I'll see what I can whip up.
