Egg drop rate

I've been playing for 23 hours so far, cleared three playthroughs, upgraded everything, and yet, i have not looted a single egg. There's an achievement to get 5 of them, so i'd need to play at least a 100 hours at this rate ? Is it potentially bugged or will that be adjusted eventually ? I'd like to get more variety so not having any other familiar is a bit frustrating. The rest of the game is great though, nothing to complain about on that front.

Have you unlocked The Collector yet? He's a requirement to start finding eggs.

We looked at your save file and nothing seems to be amiss. Othermine is a good source of new blueprints, recipes, and eggs if you want to speed up the process.

I want more multiple relics per levels :'( I can't do it slowly; the hare is always so on the chase in your dungeons. New: Spikes UNDER GRASS? how about not sweeping dirt under the carpet. :'(
I only reached the delve dungeon now; it was so good to beat that larvae sentient but I don't even know who the next boss is;

Alright, i completed an entire run of the Othermine and got three eggs, two in the Moth's chest, so i guess i'll have to do that again !

also remember that chaos spawn egg only appear after you beath 3rd run in othermine without death. From moth chest.

Eggs are apparently obtained from cursed and thorium chests. Perhaps you're not cursing yourself often enough?

Cursing myself at every opportunity i get, finished a run with 15 curses even.

Curses are like piggy backs to get there faster

Cosmic egg is a Relic that triples familiar XP, it doesn't count as an egg for unlocking new familiars, which is what OP is talking about.
