Random game lag?
Anyone else have the game randomly stutter now and then? I had a really good run going and stuttered into a hole which ended my run.

We will continue to improve performance and memory usage throughout early access.

Didn't want to start a new thread, but just want to make sure Thorium is aware this continues to be an issue. Seems to be worse both with longer play sessions, and in the crystal caverns in any case even if restarting the game on Caverns 1.

Well, my Laptop is really bad but can run the game perfectly with some mini lag spikes, like lots of gold nuggets in the floor or to many enemies proyectiles, the problem comes when I enter a room with the floor covered of OIL (not a normal room, the ones that have every corner with oil), it gives me an extreme lag, like 5 FPS or less. But no matter, is still replayable and fun.:town_guard:

I get lag spikes as well every now and then - enough that units teleport around.

yep had several of these stutters during my most recent run today. Tends to make my character skip on the screen which can sometimes be very bad in a game that requires good reflexes like this

The more things they add the more weird stutters it suffers. I don't get it either.. I'll even clear an entire floor and save the Altars and Shops for the last steps I do before leaving crossing an open floor with no other animations or objects or traps or anything and there will be 2 or 5 or 4 frames missing from just walking across a room... *shrug* what is it calculating? it makes zero sense and yes it is very random.. is it a remote connection VNC session view or something?
