Piffler stole my relic. Bug?

I just came back from a run where I got 2 new blueprints. So I went to the blacksmith/forge to make them. I made popcorn and the crown and a piffler spawned and stole the crown relic. Has this happened to anyone else?

As far as i know you shouldnt craft more than one artifact cause the second gets stolen every time and you cant do anything about it. You need to do a dungeon again after each crafting.
