Crash Troubleshooting
We've been hearing about some crash reports while loading the game, and they seem to have some common denominators:

1. Verify the files through steam ( library right click on heat > properties > local files > verify integrity of cache). This may especially be an important step after installing a new update for the game, or after a fresh download.

2. Try uninstalling and re-installing the game if the step above does not work.

3. Check that you have not disabled your windows page file (we recommend setting it to automatic).

4. Install the latest graphics card drivers for your graphics card.

5. Please try unplugging the USB headset, then restarting computer with it unplugged. And loading up the game. Please let us know if that helped in anyway.

6. Install the latest Microsoft .NET Framework, Microsoft Visual C ++, DirectX, Microsoft XNA Framework Redistributable packages

7. If you have a program installed called "Citrix" follow - https://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/1/1743358239830363122/

8. Try deleting the app data under windows user folder, and then reboot the game:

C:\Users\Username\AppData\LocalLow\CodeHatch

9. Try windowed mode before joining a server.

10. If stuck on downloading characters or loading America - When you load up to main menu, minimize, do alt ctrl del, find easyanticheat.exe and right click to open its location, when that window opens. run anticheat, and repair heat using the drop down menu, when that done maximize heat again and try load in again.

Please try these steps to see if it works for you. We are looking into why this is an issue.

If any of these steps work for you, please post in this thread which one worked. If they do not work, please visit this tutorial and help us find a detailed crash report - https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1648276719

I have done the following with no resolve.
-Verified game
-Tried the game with page files on and off
-Turned of all antivirus
-Turned off all firewalls
-Updated graphics card drivers
-Updated windows
-Restarted computer
-Uninstall and reinstalled the game
-Ran steam as administrator
-Uninstalled all LED programs that I could
-Uninstalled any program I dont need

The only thing left is to reformat the computer and reinstall windows but I dont want to do that if it does not work.

Thoughts....

I do run a Logitech keyboard, mouse and head set that all have LEDs that are controlled by the Logitech gaming software, can that be effecting it?

Is the Nvidia Geforce experiance setting it off?

Is it anticheat stopping me?

I would really like to start playing this game but the issue of not getting past the loading screen without it crashing and creating a log is really starting to be a pain in the arse.

**UPDATE**
I uninstalled the Nvidia Geforce experiance and the Logitech gaming software and you are not going to believe it. It did absolutely nothing. Good luck!

Reformatting does NOT work either. I tried it.

Sorry to hear about this. We've been trying to, but haven't been able to reproduce this across an array of computers in-house yet, so some more info would be helpful.

Whats your computer specs?

What type of harddrive?

What loading screen is it crashing on?

Is it the load into the main menu, or the load into a server?

If its a load into the server, what is the last thing said on the loading screen at the time?

When it crashes, is there any error popup in the game or does it just close the .exe without an error?

It crashes on the very first loading screen where is says "Heat" in a small box. The blue loading bar gets to the end and the screen goes away. After a few seconds I will get an error on my screen "Oops!. The game crashed. The crash report folder named "******" next to game executable. It would be great if you'd send it to the developer of the game!"

That can not be that more than half can not play, how about if a decent attitude is presented what you have to adjust where or can, that would be helpful.
