I love the premise of the game and wanted to get a wiiu just for devils third but i don't see this game going anywhere with its absurd pay shop model.
- Runs poorly and looks dated
- Most of the starter characters look boring or unappealing
- The tutorial lady spits waaay too much stuff at you, and the main menu is super cluttered, so it's confusing to behold for the first time.
- The handful of matches I played were all completely different PVE and PVP gamemodes. While there's a lot of variety, none of it feels distinct from other games. I liked the first-person aiming in a third-person game and the melee combat, but it doesn't really change the way I play from how I would play any other game like this
- The game lacks an overall identity. I see soldiers and mutants/zombies that could be from any number of games. There's no "hook" to the game world, no lore, no backstories or anything to create context for what's going on
Anyway, those are my first impressions. I agree that people should play a game for a couple hours before leaving a review (20 hours seems a bit much), but I also think that this game has a lot of integral problems that don't seem like they can be easily fixed.
