Will this be a traditional 2D anime fighter (Skullsgirls,MvC, BlazBlue, etc), 3D Fighter (Tekken, Virtua Fighter) or classic 2D (Street Fighter, King of Fighters)?

I played this on my phone once. From what i remember,it was free and there was also no real pvp. Is there a real pvp mode now? Also,why does this version cost money while the android version is free?
