Lost Planet: Extreme Condition

Native, Directx9 and Directx10 Launch selection?
Hello, I bought Lost planet a while back and have finally installed it. I am wondering what the native launch selection is? Since it has alternate selections for directx 9 and directx10 versions. I am capible of running Directx11.

I think so. Don't know a fix for that. Does DX9 work at least?

DX10 should work with DX11 hardware I've sent this game to some friends and they were able to play perfectly. Maybe verify game cache?

It's an old game. I think dx9 just fine.

Hi, I can use directX 10 with Steamlink and the game run very well in best settings. But I had the same problem before and I resolved it to copy steam.dll in the game's folder. You can try also this command line for forced directX 10 to be used with basic launcher: -dxlevel 100

Found the following works; Installed Game for windows live: http://www.xbox.com/en-IE/Live/PC/DownloadClient

Then launched from the executable directly: Steam\SteamApps\common\lost planet extreme condition

When it tries to launch I got a missing 'WMVCORE.DLL' & 'WMASF.DLL', which I googled and downloaded, then it launches and runs.

I couldn't get LP to work under DX10 and I have a decent medium/high spec system yet under DX9 it works perfectly fine as does LP2 under DX9

I can play using DX10 a minute or two before it crashes, if I am lucky. First time I tried it got stuck at the Capcom logo. Like most of us, checking to see if it's a thing....and it is heh.

Have to uninstall KB2670838, and it'll work great.

You don't need to uninstall KB2670838, if you don't want to:
