Yume Nikki

Yume Nikki

The controls
While i don't understand why, my version of the game has the "move up" broken. So when I try to play, it forces me to move up and I can't move down either. I made sure it isn't my keyboard or mouse, so I have to assume it's something with the game. If anyone knows about a fix for this, please help me out.
*Extra* I tried downloading the game on another computer, and the exact same result occured, so the game is most likely at fault.

Try verifying the game files.

I don't exactly know what i would be looking for... i mostly found assests from rpg maker and no real lead on controls.

right click on the game in your library, click on properties, then local files, then verify integrity of game files

didn't help with my problem though

Have you tried the keyboard fix in one of the stickied threads?

none of the solutions there helped for me

Hi, can you also check if you have any 3rd party key mapping drivers installed on your PC, there is a chance that they are interfering with the input for the game.

besides my second keyboard and like vjoy, i have nothing
unplugging the second keyboard didn't do anything, dunno how vjoy interacts with it since i don't think it actually messes with keys

i downloaded the non-steam version of yume nikki and it didn't have the going up problem
