Yume Nikki Theme Animated Art!

Hello everyone!

I'm excited to see that there are still so many people that love this game. It's been almost 14 years since it was created and the fandom is still growing strong! And now with the Steam release of this game, I can only hope for more! I for one have been animating artwork for steam. What I do is merely to practice animation. I did not create or draw any of these pieces, I only constructed and animated them.

I am posting this because I would like critisism on my pieces and improve as an artist. Also to celebrate Yume Nikki among the community. Thank you for reading this!

It looks really good! I'm honestly super impressed. I was never a big fan of Seccom but it looks really awesome. What did you use to animate it all? I made my profile Yume Nikki themed but animating in Photoshop was such a huge pain, I don't think I could ever see myself doing it again like that haha.

Thank you for your compliments! I used Adobe Photoshop to construct and Adobe After Effects to animate these pieces. It takes practice but you improve with each creation.

I know nothing about animating, but your profile looks great to me. Personally I would consider crediting the original artist/s if possible though. Edit: whoops, didn't see your comment about being unable to find whom to credit.

Thank you for your kind words. They're just trolling so I don't take it seriously tbh. I would credit the artist but when searching for them I could not find them, the art is repost from pintrest. I'll try better next time.

It's good to not take it seriously but "trolling" is really no excuse for such verbal abuse. Just be proud of your work. :)

I'm going to be honest, that's the most impressive and most creative profile I have ever seen on steam.
Impressive work, hopefully someday I will be able to achieve something similar to what you did.
