It works. There's just no indication of it initiating (the screen dimming darker is missing). It's random. Keep getting in the bed and wait a bit for the music to start fading out. If it doesn't, get out of the bed and get back in it until you hear it fade out. There's also no music on Mars unfortunately.

Just noticed that the SFX played when Mado tries to interact with the door when she is awake is the sped up version from the original, making it sound very different.

This happens for me too, but oddly, I just tried leaving her room while she had the "crick in neck" condition she sometimes gets after waking up and the sound played at the correct speed.

That didn't work for me. Whenever I start the game the game acts like I'm holding up and left and nothing fixes it. Started with the last update. All that exe did was say "Keyboard has been reset!" and nothing changed.

Hey there, I got the traffic light effect and apparently you're supposed to be able to use the action button to flip between stop and go but that doesn't work. I'm even in one specific roo where it's needed for an event but the light won't flip.

Hi all, sorry for the delay in getting back to you all.

Let me deal with the bug reports in sets.

Some sfx / bgm aren't playing.

We have updated the game to fix this already. If there is anything else not working properly, please post here and we will fix it.

Some keys aren't working / My controls are weird / etc.

Can you first check that you have no third party key mapping software on your PC. This can get in the way of input.
Also, we are looking into this case in detail, as a temporary solution, please check this thread:

I can't take screenshots / Steam overlay doesn't work / I can't use Steam broadcasting

Sadly the engine for the game isn't compatible with the Steam overlay. We have run into this issue before on other games, and have attempted to find ways around it. For now, we are unable to do anything about it, BUT if one day we find a solution, we will update the game.

Yume Nikki won't full screen properly / I have black borders

Please try pressing F5 for visual settings and adjust them as needed.

Does this game have a Virus / Malware

No it doesn't. It is common for indie games to get flagged by antivirus software as a false positive. I recommend adding it to your exceptions list.

The vending machine crashes.

We have updated the game to fix this.

Stuck on Loading Screen / "adjusting sound levels" Screen

The fade to black in Masada's spaceship bed is not happening for some reason. You can see
the Mars event but you have to guess how much time the script needs, then get out of bed and the event starts with no transition either.

We are looking into this one.

Can you verify your Steam files and check that an antivirus program didn't remove anything

May I ask why the game has so many bugs? Did you guys re-do the entire game? Translated Version 0.10 used to work fine, so what went so hard? Sorry if I sound rude.

The game had to be reconfigured to run on a non-Japanese PC and to work on Steam.
