Smooth locomotion issue with WMR controllers
I've got a WMR Lenovo Explorer, and I've tried using smooth locomotion (the only way to play VR shooters IMO). It works really well when it does work, but sometimes it just starts randomly reversing, so when I push forwards, the character moves backwards, and vice versa. This kind of randomly happens, so I'll push forwards, get a little bit of forwards motion, and then backwards, then forwards for a bit. It seems more likely to happen if I try to strafe, but it's hard to pin it down.

I also tested to see if the movement was somehow relative to the controller position, becuase I've had that issue in other games, but as far as I can tell the movement is relative to the headset, so it shouldn't matter where the controller is pointing, and either way it seems more to do with whether or not I'm strafing.

Also I've checked the controller in SteamVR to see if there's something wrong with my controllers - the joysticks seem to be reported accurately, so I don't think that's the issue either.

Also I would like a left-handed mode, but I can do without that. The locomotion issue, however, is rendering the game unplayable.

Not sure how to fix the first problem, since it's not one I've had.

As to the left-handed mode, you'll be dual wielding relatively early so it should become less of an issue.

Same problem with odyssey +, can't play the game, can barely get out of the first room. Wish i could just rebind the controller input to wsad.

Did you guys try to edit the thumb stick settings and increase the deadzone on them. My Odyssey works great

Exact same issue on Odyssey +.

I am wondering if small shakes and motion of our heads are confusing the game into thinking we are moving. If there's not even a tiny bit of head play that's just awful.
