26 hours for me and I'm, not done yet, but I tend to play games to see and climb around and see where i can't get to etc. Messing with online companion matches are fun to go on little sudden item seeking quests or take on a boss with a live player versus the AI. Lots of stuff extend the game, the length of sidequests+main game really don't have to be a focus if you can stop to admore the visuals going on and explore as the town develops or even make a new character to rechallenge bosses with other new players or players doing a Sissna run. I've seen people say they are enjoying their third playthrough.
The Developer said they intentionally built the game with familiar mechanics,, but because what they managed to do in various ways environmentally with light, visually from effects on magic and elements, flying particles and dramatic lighting actually mattering like a zelda game would in theory, to character design (inb4 you have no face), to story where there is a pretty great self aware relevatory moment I did not see coming and enough stuff to explore for with or without a buddy to fill out a hefty list of items worth exploring for. I've had a ton of fun so...even if I weren't only half way done, if it ended now I'd have enjoyed it, but thankfully I have half a map left, and when it comes to Steam, I'll likely pick it up again for new companion runs through and find things I missed on the other characters.

Didn't play this game but I rather have 5 good bosses than 20 bad ones.

Thing is, the boss battles aren't good. The game itself isn't that great sadly. The environments and world feels and is built like a Souls game. The lore and story also feels like a Souls game. However, there are barely any variations in terms of weapons in the game. There are axes, clubs,
and spears - but they all honestly feel the same. On top of that, there are only like 6 or 7 enemy types throughout the ENTIRE GAME. The enemies that you see and fight in the first few areas of the game are the same enemies you'll be fighting in the middle and at the end of the game. The game overall, FOR ME, is a huge disappointment. Few boss fights, few enemy variants, and the weapon system is bare bones. You're not missing much imo
:(

The last boss is dodging the same 2 attacks about 40 times, none of the bosses were challenging even without playing with the "recommended" Ai companion.

Depends on the quality of the content, but yeah... 20 hours for what, 40€ i saw on Epic Store? Is quite expensive, unless the game is absolutely flawless and so good / unique to be worth that price despite the duration.

Can't say, might try when it comes on steam, IF it does.
