ModLoader with Linux ?
Hello,

The game seems to be playable without issue on Linux PC, via Proton.

However, because there is no workshop and we have to use external tool from RaftModding, i didn’t manage to run mods on my system yet.

I can install the ModLader via WINE, i can set a shortcut to find the install folder to point to the .exe, but then i don’t know what to do. If i press Play, there is an error saying unable to find the game etc.

Mostly i want two things : more duration for tools and equipment (like, x10...), and less need for food and water (like half or even quarter of easy). I find the balance even on Easy completly off and boring, while the gameplay is nice so far (10 hours in).

Can’t i just edit a file somewhere ?

Would be nice to have a native Linux version of the game, and the ModLoader...
Would be nice to have a proper Workshop...

Thanks for helping

I recommend asking advice on Raft Modding Discord. You'll find people more knowledgeable about the Modloader and mods in general, especially if you can get in contact with the creator of the Modloader there. You'll have to ask about Modloader Linux port from him.

As for porting Raft to Linux, the answer remains the same as it was at the Early Access launch. The developers plan to complete game on Windows first before considering supporting other platform so it's unlikely to happen at least until Raft is fully released and out of Early Access.
