Raft Is great, lets make it better. (Ideas)
I have put hundreds of hours into this game. Played for years since the domesticated update, yes before bears and bombs were a feature. I have been experimenting with mods lately just to add a bit of spice and efficiency to my playthroughs. Can't recommend the fishing nets enough. Using mods gets me thinking about things that RedBeat could add to improve upon their game. Things that are relatively easy to implement, but also not game breakingly overpowered like some mods are. I seriously hope that RedBeat will consider some of these, because I believe myself and the Raft community would love to see new features and additions come to life. Alright Let's get into it.

#1 Trash. A first impression goes a long way, loading up a world you see the raft, hook, water, and trash in the water. This is a very important feature to fine tune, since you literally spend over 80% of the game collecting trash in open water. you have palm leaves *1 and *3,
plank of wood, three plastic types and two barrel variants. Before chapter one there was a blue plastic variant that no longer exists, and it really balanced the color scheme of the trash. It looked fine why remove it. Not A lot has Changed with Trash over the years but there is certainly room to improve it. New wood variants, like a fence board or something honestly get creative the lost remnants of human civilization are under those waves.

#2 Derelict Rafts. Those things that float until you step on it, have not changed a bit since early access. Here are some Ideas. Chest instead of loot box, Like the small chest that the player can make with only 4 slots maybe. I can have randomized loot, and maybe a random tier 1 tool to help progression early game. the raft can still sink so looting it in time is key since you wont be able to have it opened underwater. Another idea for these is removable furniture. I never find myself using furniture until very late game, but having some of these items available for free would be huge for some early-game fun since you mostly want to save materials for important builds.

#3 New tamable animal. This one is less thought out but could be cool if executed right.
Possibly even just a cosmetic pet that is stationary would be cool. I'm all for making the raft a zoo.

#4 New and old islands. I'm talking about regular small islands mostly. Before ch. 1 a lot of islands were taller or just a small rock out of the water, and I miss the variety those had to it. Tall ones drive building a new floor. those tiny rock ones let you just focus on whats underwater. What about new islands, i'm thinking something like a tiny island with an animal on it, (how did the little guy end up there). Or Biome Specific Small islands like the large island counterparts. A caravan on a rock, or glacier. It may be asking for a lot but 1 or 2 new tropical large island varieties would be such a breath of fresh air.

#5 Fish. Not the trading post fish, (those should be peaceable on the frames for decor), no I mean the edible kind. 6 in total in a game about living on the water. There are plenty of fish in the sea. And how cool would a clown fish be as tier 1 fish. Heck come up with a creative fictional fish that goes with the vibes of Raft. Actual In-game Example: Bro is that a chicken? Nah that's the clucker from Raft.

Speed Round.

#6 Npc Quests, community really wants it.

#7 Crafable masks, could be neat.

#8 Respawnable Scutlers.

#9 more uses for stones. place-able on raft especially on grass plots. Rng for google eyes.

#10 Tool and Machine tier 3. Titanium paddle, fishing pole, shovel. Advanced engine , and steering wheel to make it look better and work better. Also advanced sprinkler system that is battery powered on one machine and it pumps water to smaller sprinkler heads that take up no space and don't need its own battery. though it only waters a 2 by 2 area

Any other Suggestions, or want to add on to mine, feel free to comment them below.
