A solo crab should have a very small hunger filling percentage, for example if simply grilled.
If encountered on dry land or say when "clay or sand is collected", what should be used to collect the crab? Bare hands? There definitely needs to be a chance of injury if so. This could be interesting as you might need to swap tools/weapons, keeping the player engaged.
Maybe add another option for the soup of either crab or the giant clam, since those should really have another use as well.
Totally agree:
- Raw crab = + small hunger (similar to a small raw fish)
- Cooked crab = + more hunger than raw (again, like cooked fish)
- Crab & Coconut Soup = + a larger hunger refill, with a small bonus green hunger bar.
(like other dishes made from the Cooking Pot.)
The idea is, it's a moving / living creature.
- It should be able to do small amounts of damage to the player.
(The attack pattern I'll leave to the devs, as I'm sure they'll know best.)
- It could be attacked with any of the current weapons in game.
- After taking X amount of damage it dies & you can collect from the corpse.
Thank you for the inspiration! Honestly yeah, another recipe could be:
- Crab & clam chowder: Takes 1 raw crab, 1 giant clam, 1 potato, 1 milk.
