Chickens...

Hello fellow steamers, I think this game could benefit a lot from the addition of wild chickens on the islands. Hear me out here, lets say you get to an island and it has maybe 1-2 chickens, now with the research table you need to get the throwable net which you will use to catch these little buggers. Then once you have said chicken maybe there is a blueprint for a chicken coop or maybe you just have to make an enclosure. The feed for the chickens could be a meal made of potatoes and beets, simple enough. There could be a feeder that you can make out of wood and plastic. There are already drumsticks from the seagulls so why not have a drumstick farm from actual chickens. Also maybe even rooster and hens to create eggs?? just food for thought dev's, could be quite interesting. Awesome game btw.

That seems possible. Chickens were but a few of the many domesticated animals that were taken on ships for one reason or another.

I doubt this would be put in, but it would be interesting to make it so it takes quite a bit of grown food to farm chickens for meat and eggs; just like how it is in real life. But that bit of realism might make things a bit awkward. Given how abundant shark meat and seagulls can be, that message just might be out of place.
