Me and my buddies have encountered a bug with cross play, or just the game entirely not sure.
Bug- Cant pick anything up, everything we can pick up switches itself to random items and items that were picked up are still on the floor, this bug is only for me and the buddy that are using steam, the world is run by my other friend that uses an xbox. His gameplay is completley unchanged and still drop and pick up items fine. Me and the person on steam also lost our entire inventory.
Fixes- I tried deleting the game and redownaloding, no luck. We tried going back to a different save file but it only had saved the one from this morning when we had first joined again. I cannot access the world files on my computer because i do not own the world and cannot access them because he is on an xbox. we tried recreating the bug that caused it and no luck, just stayed the same as we did before.
Cause- We had finished up a game session and were messing around, I killed my friend that was on xbox and he being stupid click the lose entire inventory button, he then left the world without saving so he would not lose his entire inventory.

Without a doubt this game is fun, but a bug like this where your entire world gets lost because of 1 ♥♥♥♥ up? really pisses me off. Please do something to fix this or someone please provide a work around. We have 50+ hours into this raft game and we do not want to restart and lose everything we have done.

My nephew and I both use Steam and we have this problem too. My Host game is fine but he sometimes he can not pick up items or craft items. he has to restart his game to fix this.

Crossplay is still in Beta test. I would suggest that the person hosting the world should be on PC/Steam until crossplay is no longer in beta. I don't know anything about it TBO, but that is my recommendation.
