Raft
100% GPU
Anyone else getting this? I've just installed my 5070 TI today. Other games run just fine. Is there a Memory Leak in Raft?

Higher GPU usage (close to 100%) typically means that your graphics card is working at its full potential, often when running demanding games or tasks. This is good because it shows the GPU is being fully utilized for the task.

So..... if you are going to be a GPU/FPS gamer bro, learn what you are talking about.

I think you'll find that if your GPU is running at 100% and the temps sky high, there's an issue with the code. Raft is not a demanding game to run. My 3060 ran it totally fine. So it's either a 5070 TI issue or a game issue. Have the settings on its lowest with 100% gpu usage.

Just because your card runs at 100% doesn't always mean its a good thing. I've been in the game for 20 years. I know how it works. Next time don't assume you know someones knowledge. That's called being rude.

Likely an issue with the 5070 or the drivers. I have a 3080 and it also runs fine (like your 3060). With settings on 'Fantastic' I get 30-40% usage on the GPU.

i have a 6600XT in a passive-air-cooled case and it doesn't come close to touching my max temps.

I think you might have some driver issues.
You might also wanna see if there's anything in the background that's sapping your GPU's workload.

Does it do this on other games?

I've not tried it since. And no my other games work just fine. Raft was the only one maxing out. I'll try it again and see if I get the same problem again. There's been a few driver updates since.
i was running it on my 2060 just fine. i heard the new GPUs like to catch on fire.
100% is good, 50% is bad.
