Yo, make sure you're not sailing against the wind. Otherwise, you'll need the engines to move in that direction.

Thanks for your answer! I am using the motors with petrol, so wind does not impact right ?

are the wheels on your engines moving freely at full speed? Or do they look like they are struggling to turn? You might need to add another engine depending on the size of your raft..

The wheels seem to move freely (I have two of them)

I would goto yourube and see one running, make sure yours are running that fast. It honestly looks quite big for two engines.
Uploading vid, stupid question. Both motors going in the same direction correct?

Make sure your heading the right direction, I like one of the mods that tells you which way you are going, it's a pretty simple mod, just adds a line towards the direction you are going.

i agree with the guy above. That raft looks far too large for 2 engines. I'd build a 3rd, possibly a 4th. More than likely it's just not enough power to move the raft.

Looks like this wasn't mentioned. The engines go two ways, make sure you have them going *towards* the front as opposed to spinning reverse.
Hope that helps!

Sorry for the late reply !
The engines are running as normal as in the videos...
And yes they do go in the correct way, so eveything seems fine (not too big for the engines, good directions, etc...)

I noticed that at night and with wind only, the ship is reaching the island (from 1500m to 900m) but it rise at day

Still have no answer, it seems buggy and we can't continue our story :'(

Simply sail away with the wind. When you get far enough away (~2000m) the current Caravan Town will despawn and game will spawn a new one, hopefully in direction you can sail to. This works on any story location except Balboa Island which is designed always to spawn upwind from your raft requiring engines or paddles to reach.

to add to this, make sure you have enough engines for your raft. you need 1 engine per 100 foundations. so bigger builds will requires more engines.

Since no one has mentioned it yet, make sure the receiver is pointed the right direction. The top of the receiver screen is not the front of your raft, it is the direction you are facing when looking at the receiver. If your looking at your receiver and the island you want to get to is at the top of the receiver screen but is getting further away, your receiver is likely facing backwards.

My friends keep doing that then trying to calculate direction all the time . Im like "ffs just aim it the same way as the engines."
Good call btw, not even just for this issue but for all new players.

I'm always tempted to set up my control console like that! It's hard to get it close enough to the steering wheel without collision or not being able to squeeze between them, and it's hard to see from that far away.
