Next sale?

Hey y'all any idea when this might go on sale again? Or if there are discount keys? I'd like to buy a copy for a friend.

Discounts aren't announced in advance. Steam Summer Sale is the most likely one though. Raft is only sold on Steam so there are no keys in circulation other than few hundred given away by the devs over the years, of which most are used up. You are more likely to get fake key or key for one of the knockoff games rather than genuine one if you risk using the grey market.

depends how badly you want to play the game, g2a has accounts with raft on the account profile for only 7 USD.
