question titan arrows

Truthfully, nothing exceptional about them,
no Beast worthy to use them on, when the game ' ends '.

Yeah, I like spending extra time fighting animals while not using the weapon I unlocked that would save me some time. And that also would make my bow deal more damage while it lasts.

Did make about 40 + titanium arrows when got the recipe,
just to see how special they are.

Considering the Five and half chests of Metal arrows sitting on board,
pulling one or two stacks into backpack is a routine since ages.

Still use them to shoot at ' sitting ducks ' while they rest on nests and
if able, on ' dogs barking up the wrong tree '.

The preferred weapon, Titanium Sword/ machete is another story.

The question is, how much titanium do you have. If you are sitting on tons of it, go for the titanium arrows. If you don´t have much they aren´t worth it imo and you should rather spend it on the titanium sword.

Titanium arrow only do 20 damage (instead of 15 for the metal arrow). That's quite an insignificant upgrade (like all titanium tool tbh) for the cost (running around, consuming material to find and dig treasures).

Screecher have 100 hp (white one have less, I think 60). That's either 5 titanium arrow or 7 metal arrow. Assuming you never miss (because its more costly to miss a titanium arrow than a metal one), it's up to you if you find it worth using titanium arrow based on this.

I'd say it's probably not a priority because 1- screecher are easy to ignore in the first place, especially at this stage of the game and 2- screecher doesn't provide any useful ressource.

If you are the kind of guy who use a bow for something else than a screecher tho, just don't forget that against a mudhog you will need 3 arrow regardless if it's tita or iron on normal difficulty. Still good against warthog.

Yes but i dont reccomend them they are kinda useless and cost too much, i prefer iron arrows

Of all the titanium based tools and weapons you get I think only the sword is really worth it. I find it is a good replacement for both the spear and the machete, and it lasts a good long time. The arrows only save you a shot or 2, and you feel worse when you miss and lose one. The other tools really should last longer than they do, using that much titanium for a tool that only seems to last twice as long just isn't worth it, use that titanium for the better batteries and advanced machines. If the titanium hook let you harvest a lot faster that would be worth it, I'd spend the titanium if I could gather more on each dive.

Titanium is no longer rare. You can get 15 titanium from the trader, plus some from treasures at every big island.
As soon as you have built all the machines and batteries you need, titanium becomes abundant.

A 33% damage boost is not what I would call "insignificant", especially when it translates into approximately 30% fewer arrows required to kill Screechers.

That's your opinion. 30% sound like a lot when out of context but if you are done with the story, like I say, there isn't any point killing a screecher (as they easy to dodge, doesn't hurt much, and only attack in large island, give no useful material).
Ignoring it is the best course of action (unless you are new and explore the island, unlikely to happen if you did finish the game and get titanium arrow).

Screechers are harder to ignore than you think they are. Besides, killing one is basically a free head as well as feathers and drumsticks, which are tedious to get otherwise.
