So i get to to temperance and everything is fine until i get to the telescope i cant enter the code. The number didnt show up whatsoever and i cant get the key item to continue the story is there a way to fix this or do ineed to do something before?

You aren't given the code, you have to figure it out from clues. Like at Tangaroa.

You should find some notes. Then look at the posters for some hints. Then play with the telescope controls to look at constellations.

Oh, I misunderstood. Are you playing in offline mode? I think that's one of the parts that needs to be in online mode.

There are bugs that can stop your progress if you're playing Raft with Steam in offline mode (Tangaroa crane not working, command dome hatch not opening, problems with elevators etc. There are likely to be more issues in Final Chapter areas but they are not documented.) Only way to get around these issues to start the game with Steam in Online mode.
