cannot join mate

When i try to join mate i got bluescreen and on left side bar to craft, but i dont see anything else, he got same when trying ot join me. Escape key does not work, cannot move nothing. What to do>?

Its been happening to me sometimes since the update. Apparently the hosts game also freezes when I join.

We found moving the raft a bit, or me joining a single player game then rejoining their world has worked but I'm not sure which one of these is actually helping, or if its just been down to luck and a total fluke. Either way, this is only an issue since the new update, I hope it gets fixed :/

Edit: Since posting that neither method seems to be helping tonight and I can't join the hosts game, very frustrating. We've both verified files etc.

Tried it all and didnt help. BEsides he can play normaly when i try to join and I can play normaly if he tries to join.

Submitted the bug report too. Haven't been able to join my host's world since Friday

You can tray re-friend your crewmate. The host must play first (in game your friend back in steam) then you joining host world. It work for me, because raft game code for multiplayer has changed!
