Having trouble connecting to host

All patched up. Launch the game, load my save file. Anyone else getting an error "Having trouble connecting to host". The only option i have is to return to the main menu :(

Some of my old saves still work, but not others. I was planning to showcase 4 raft designs on youtube within the next week, but all of my completed projects are non-functional. This was not how I saw today going...should have known better.

Well, now I was able to join the game...my raft was gone but therefore all the decoration was still hanging around in the air lol

I don't use any mods and have the same problem.

as i try to join my friend it says "my game version is not the same as the host one". But we both have done the update. I dont understand. Please help

Did you all download the hotfix that the developers just pushed out? Exit and restart Steam and check your downloads.
