Were was it? Right.
It's a sci fi game where you are stuck on an ocean planet after the ship you were on went down and you now need to not die.
On the one hand it's like raft with all the swimming and gathering resources, building better tools and while you can build a base it doesn't move (not counting the one that does). But on the other hand you are going to wish there was only a Bruce to worry about, as you are not the alpha predator on this world.
Put short:
If you can't count how many teeth it has, this means it wants to eat you.
If you can count how many teeth it has, this means it is eating you.
It's not a horror game, per say, but you will want a spare pair of trousers on hand at all times.
Also like raft it comes with a story to follow. But also like raft if you don't feel like following the story, there's nothing forcing you.
subnautica is nothing like raft. totally different game type.

Beware of Raft clones though.

But sadly the dev gave it up. :(
You can build planet side bases, floating or on the ground or underwater, or once you have a freighter (which can be upgraded if you find a better one) you can completely deck out the freighter and use it as your main base which moves around with you.
You start off with a small fighter jet if you start a new game, or start on an expedition which will turn into regular game play after the expedition is over.
I have almost 2000 hours of great game time and enjoyed every minute of it.
