There is peaceful mode where all normally hostile creatures, including shark, become passive. As for shark attacking your raft, you can stop this by reinforcing the edges of your raft with foundation armor. Once all edges are reinforced, shark stops attacking your raft until expand your raft outside those reinforced edges and you have to repeat the reinforcing.
Like all things, it seems it is other peoples fault or lack of for site when we cant achieve something.
Thanks for sharing you grievance but all you need to do is make a wooden spear. Have a spare.
shark meat is a great source of sustenance during the game and especially were you are.
Just use the spear it is 4 strikes to scare it away, and just repair the boat.
when you get your smelters going, getting the clay is hard at first, you can make a metal spear which is only 3 strike to get him off the raft.
From then on a bow and arrow works under water at close range so 10 hits with arrows gets you a dead shark and fish and chips if you have any potatoes.
ha ha, there isn't a recipe for that its an Aussie dish.
once you get the hang of it its easy peazzy .
said kindly, Please don't insult the developers with your " its a joke" statement. foolish
Bzw, later you can reinforce youre raft with (i guess it was metal) youre raft and the shark cant attack the raft anymore.
this is a non issue.
At all.
The shark could still attack you if you get in the water, forcing you to use the hook.. without arbitrarily biting away at your raft.
Turning off the shark, means no shark...right? How could the shark attack you if it's not there? I was just pointing out the purpose of the shark, the op wants to be able to shut off the shark which i personally agree we should be able to do but we can't, you can play peaceful mode and this problem doesn't exist. nothing you said has anything to do with with the issue.....at all
