is submitting a bug report so the developers can take a look here: https://support.redbeetinteractive.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
and then hope that once the console ports are done, the developers come back to PC version to at least fix the most serious bugs before moving on to their next game. *fingers crossed* *knock on wood*
I'm playing cooperative and haven't had these issues, so not everyone is experiencing them. Make sure it's reported to the devs.
Virtually every client from 2018 to 2023 had the problem of not being able to retrieve the hook at the start of the game, but as far as this problem, yes, it's probably just on OP's end
My end?
We tried in 2 games, different countries, different host.
It happened to me and to another player
As mentioned above, there's your problem. Its a connection issue.
Is not "my problem"
I have played many survival coop games with friends from all over the world. The game should anticipate and prevent these types of problems, items cannot simply disappear in a game where they are so expensive to obtain. This is the first time something like this has happened to me.
I've played through this game a few times - with myself as the host, and with others as the host.
Glitches/Problems tend to happen to the guests (non-host) of the raft world. So when I join someone else's raft world, I do everything very slowly - no spamming interactions. If I open a chest, I wait a few seconds for the chest to open, and avoid opening multiple chests at the same time. Similarly when guests join my world, some experienced duplicate glitches (the opposite of ur problem).
both, my world and happened also in his world
The fact that no one else here is experiencing the issues you're describing should give you your answer - bugs can only be fixed if the developer can replicate them, and if barely anybody is experiencing the bug, then they probably can't.
Developers are not psychic. They have to be aware that a problem exists before they can fix it.
