Raft Engine not working correctly
I'm playing the game Raft. I have placed 2 engines, I'm well with in the 100 tile limit. They are both full of wood. However when I raise the anchor they don't move. They just sputter and stull. What is going on, why are they not working?

You really need to read posts more carefully. I did go by the 100 tile ratio. If you don't learn to read posts carefully please don't reply to them for the company when you don't work for them. Thank you for your time.

make sure one isn't going in reverse i suppose

Few solutions.
Make sure they are rotating the same direction.

Make sure they are all parallel, they can be placed in any orientation but must work together. Just like an old paddle wheel steam boat.

Just try adding another engine and see if it helps, maybe you did your math wrong.

I currently need 6 engines to move my raft and have around 580 foundations, even one foundation over the limit will cause the engines to struggle.

I did that as well. I used to be a CET and i'm very good at working out problems. One of my gifts is being able to see almost every variable. We had to cross train in my collage classes way back when i was a young man. I would rather that someone that works for the company respond to this post thanks for your time.

I will give that a try however i already have two of them. I have been considering adding 2 more but they are expensive to run.

You will be waiting a long time, Devs rarely respond directly to forum posts for any game. We have an active volunteer mod that's knowledgeable but he/she doesnt work for the company.

Considering your paying money for the program. Not having a person working for them answering questions and fixing issues is not a good business practice. I have a lot of knowledge in running a business due to my many experiences of my past. I have my dad who has ran his own business. I my self have tried to run one out of my own home. I have dealt with the paperwork involved and I have had a lot of customer relations over the years.

I would recommend the owner of the game find a IT person with the knowledge of a Graphics Designer help him. I would increase the cost of the game by $5 in order to help pay for that person or if the owner can find a sponsor they could improve the game quicker and have good customer service as well. I myself would be willing to donate $5 a month to help with the development of this game. If anyone has a way to contact the owner of the program directly please let me know at Dcoxsmite78@gmail.com thanks.

Save the game and turn of your auto-save build two more and place them out and see how it works .
If that doesn`t help then load back and suddenly you have not spend one item , it is worth a try.

Just make sure you playing single player where the game is able to pause to avoid auto-save.

Or you can enter the creative mod and build your foundation the same size as your raft and try it out, that gonna take you about 10-15 minute.

I am pretty sure some of my suggestion gonna work , just give it a fair try mate.

Have a nice day :)

Devs primarily use the social media such as discord and twitter to communicate with Raft user base. There's also lot more staff on their Discord and their community manager frequents there.

There is contact email on company homepage you may try found here:

https://redbeetinteractive.com/contact.html

For issues and bugs, you should use the bug report form:

https://support.redbeetinteractive.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
