Raft

Any way to enable Blueprints early?
Does anyone know a way or mod to unlock all blueprints early?

It somehow feels pointless that you get the most valuable blueprints on the last 3 Islands.
Because then my Raft is allready pretty much done, as it is my Finger and my Mouse from feeding 20 Furnaces by Hand a hundred times.

I understand that it makes sense in case of theoretical progress. But after the last Island, you are technically done with the game. So who cares then about the new blueprints?

Maybe some sort of New Game+ mode would make sense, where you can start over but with all the blueprints you've found before. So that you actually can make really use out of it?

So if anyone knows a way how to unlock them earlier, I would be happy! :-)

A friend of mine and I were also disappointed the end game weapons and items were pretty pointless. We had no real use for them. I was excited to use my new weapon, but then it dawned on me, "Oh right. There is nothing left. You've wrapped the game."

I did it now like Anonymous Helper suggested. I've installed the "Item Spawner" Mod and just spawned all Blueprints in early. + Some Titanium Bars, because you need them for most of the endgame stuff.

But beside that, I've added nothing else, to not totally kill the fun and so far it's nice. I can recommend it that way.

Oh yeah I know of this method. I was just very shocked that the end game items had no purpose at the end of the game. Glad you're having a good time. :)

you can get titanium as soon as you have the recycler which is the start of the game pretty much in terms of story.

but yeah. the tc has a good point here. some blueprints make no sense to be story gated as they unlock way too late given this game is finished they lack any usefulness.

eletric smelter comes to mind here. and large bag.

the titanium tools where.... never worth it makeing them to begin with aside the arrows since you can recollect them after kill. the hook isnt much better than scrap hook so its a complete waste of titanium the axe is decent and the sword would have been useful before varuna point.

the electric zipline tool should have just replaced the regular one and not be a utopia unlock.

the worst is battery rechargers. they unlock way too late and you need batteris way sooner than you get them.

imo all blueprints should have come as random unlocks over time instead of beeing forced gated.

The only one I think you forgot that unlocks at the end is the sword. I found the same issues as well with the tools. There was little to no difference so it was cheaper to make metal hooks to spare the titanium. I agree with all your points. There really needs to be some rebalancing done and give us the end game items, tools and weapons before we wrap the game. I honestly felt a little cheated that I got the stuff at the end of the game. XD

Or maybe just make them randomly available on Trading Posts. Up to 2-3 Blueprints per Isle, with those you allready bought don't show up again.

Would probably increase your will to explore more big islands?

But since the game is finished, I have doubts that the dev will add such a change now. Because then he would also have to remove all the Blueprints from the Story islands, and tbh that's why you're travelling there in the first place, right?

I always find it dumb when the strongest enemy in a game drops the strongest weapon. Its like "but i just killed the strongest thing, whats this paperweight for?" FF games are terrrible for that.
