Can't you eat the goat?
So, long story short... I killed a goat ,as I had no means to capture it, thinking I'd at least be able to eat it or get some leather or something but apparently not. This a glitch or are they only good alive?

At the moment, nothing drops from a ' killed pet animal '.

Yeah I did that too. You'd think you could at least get some meat and leather from the dead animals...
