Dedicated Server?

Was the support for dedicated servers added to this game?
We've finished Valheim recently and want to try something else, but player hosting will most likely be a blocker for us.

this game is kinda short
you can finish the story in probably 10 hours and there is not much more to do after that except endless fishing for achievements so I am not sure if a dedicated server will be worth it like yall play for 3-4 hours and tomorrow only 1 of you plays for another 3-4 hours and the game is almost over

Devs never promised or planned to add dedicated server support so why would you expect them to be added?

This sounds more like a speed-run, same way Minecraft can be finished in 20 minutes, yet some people play & enjoy it for 20 hours, days, weeks, or even 20 months.

Hello. As people say, the story is short but it has a lot of things to do besides the main story line. That being said, there is a lot of fun to have by just improving your raft. Keep exploring and fishing. Is a great game to jump in a Discord call, play some music and chill.
With my friends we solved the "local save" issue with a program called Syncthing. We all have the save file synced between all our computers so anytime a save file is updated it automatically syncs to everyone else's computers.
I think you can accomplish the same with something like Dropbox or Google Drive.

I'd rather pay the developer who made the game money for the dedicated server... than some third party who made a dedicated server and is charging money on patreon for something I can do for free.
