Cant reach radio tower

Hey, been playing for a while now (12h) and cant reach the radio tower. We are 1700 far from it and its behind us. So that there is no wind change how can we sail 1700 backwards?

Just let the game flow wherever the wind takes you, and keep checking the radar later on, just because you are sailing away from it doesn't mean you'll end up further away from it.

We try but after 5h of sailing we only stay at ~1700 and its a bit boring not to find the radio tower

What kind of boat do you have, do you have a sail and everything?

Yeah, we got a sail and the navi but got it after we failed to reach the radio tower and now are far away from it. When u want you can check it out by time maybe this helps haha

Just farm, keep going at wind direction and I think it will like respawn to a next location that's on the direction you are, it happend to me like 3 times, when a history place just respawned.

Move to the opposite location it will respawn infront of you.

once i "tuned" the radio to the tower, even with it turned OFF i ran into it a few times randomly.
same with the cruise ship.
