go to a evergreen island and use the bug net to scoop up a hive. you can go back to Balboa to get bees, it's what i did
not those small dots around honey on the logs.
During my playthru, few spawns are really high up in the air at Balbao island, that I am required to build a ramp all the way to their hovering spots, and wait to swipe at them, for the jar.
Believe there might be random elevation spawn issues that needs review.
Reloaded the ' initial save ', then drifted towards the very far away Balboa, only do I saw Spawns.
Believe there may be problems with older saves where the raft is already close to Honey Islands,
or buggy spawns since its a new mechanism.
Just sharing what I experience for reference as cant be absolutely sure.
the jar is automatically created when you scoop up the bees. There is no jar you create yourself. Make a bug net and scoop up a swarm
look up in the air, they're higher up. I have to jump to get them
i found all my swarms near honey spawns, where they spawn on the logs, usually with flowers nearby too. Bee swarms are usually higher up in the air, i found some hiding in tree branches and had to wait for them to get lower
I have just reduced each planter to two flowers (so 4 in total) and am waiting to see if all 6 hives still produce.
