Some questions about the recycler
How do I turn it off?

Even when it still wants me to insert more resources, it's still pumping up and down which I assume means it's burning out the battery?

I don't understand why it doesn't just start compacting when it has enough contents.

When full it can turn out 4 cubes, so if you are adding resources to it it will start compacting when there is enough for ONE.. Then if you continue adding more it will create more, up to four when full...

I see, so when it no longer has enough to compact another cube, it'll stop I assume?

Yes it will...

Good to know, thanks

It takes so long to churn out a single cube that it would have been a long time before I figured that out lol

A full battery will provide enough power for 8 trash cubes.

Tip about dead batteries:
Keep them, eventually you will discover a way to recharge them. Alternatively they can be used to craft head lights as they don't need to be new for this.

Just want to mention that there is a mod that adds sprites to the game, you place a blue one in a near by chest, as long as there are resources in that chest, they will keep adding more in there for you, and collecting the cubes, they also will add to your bio fuel makers, and add fuel to your engines. I personally love that mod, the yellow and green ones are sooo helpful. Yellow cleans out your nets, green picks your garden plots and replants them as long as they have seeds. There are other ones that do other things as well.

until you can recharge them, you can use dead batteries to make stuff that requires batteries
