Raft going towards the blue island but its further away

Im trying to go to my first blue island on the radar and when im going towards it, its further away and every other direction is not correct either! its against the wind but when its going that direction it doesnt get any closer.. help please

Sound like you've sailed past the Radio Tower and it's now upwind from your raft. Raft can't sail upwind using sail, you need either paddles or Engines to do so. If neither option is available to you, you can simply let your drift with the wind until the story location despawns and game spawns a new one, hopefully in direction you can sail to. Do note that this wont work on Balboa Island that is designed to spawn upwind from your raft to force you to utilize engines you get from previous story location, Vasagatan, though you can also paddle your way to Balboa.

but if i try paddle to that direction its just going to tell me its further away, like i got to 320m from the destination and then it suddenly started increaing even though i was going the same way

The direction of the blue dot. is in correlation to the direction the reciever is facing. So when you are staring at the receiver. The top line is the direction your character is facing.

Good chances are you have the receiver pointing a direction that isnt thje direction your currently sailing so its confusing on which direction the actual blue dot is to your current position.

I just had to row 1300m to get there 12 paddles i used took me ages.
