Does Titanium Ore Respawn?
I'm just finishing up the next-to-final chapter and want to "beef up" my raft a bit with some of the better "advanced" equipment, and grab some of the "advanced" gear that require titanium ingots as an ingredient. However, I've emptied out Tangaroa and Caravan Island and have totally left them, out of the cell range, even and across the "map".

However, when I return later, still no titanium. The briefcases at Tangaroa are just full of non-Titanium items and I'm finding no Titanium ore when I use my metal detector on Caravan Island and elsewhere on other big islands.

Am I missing something? Or is Titanium ore a "once and done" resource that will never spawn again even when leaving the spawn/location cell of an island/quest location?

Titanium ore wont Respawn on story islands know sucks :(( still the briefcases and safes do. not 100% chance for them to drop titanium ore but you can still get it from them. Best thing i can say is make trash cubes and buy titanium ore from trading outposts 15 trash cubes 15 ore the outpost well Restock so you can keep buying it from different islands and coming back best of luck :)

Stop at every small island you see, they will always have one buried item, often containing titanium. Small islands are the easiest place to find the buried loot.

Thanks for the helpful reply! Oh well. It is what it is. I'll just take your suggestion and use the trade shops. I've got one recycler and just need to make another to "mass produce" trash cubes. lol

Was just hoping to take the "easy route" and see if the ore respawned enough.

Using the metal detector on every island (small usually has one, large usually more) has gotten me enough to work with comfortably. It's a lot faster than using trash cubes, but if you're looking for a lot or if you already have a lot of trash cubes, the shop might be a better idea.

If you haven't gotten the "you should not be here" and "boxed in" achievements on tangaroa, there's a whole ton there

happy to have helped still a metal detector would be good if you see any lamas bring them back there really good for felling the recycler 8 wool and there full wet or dry bricks are also good both give the same just need sand and clay to make them sorry best of luck :)

Just the values of the Recycler helped me a lot :)

Titanium on story islands respawns but you should sail more than 2k miles. The location should respawn on your radar. When I want to farm titanium, I go tangaroa and every island that I saw with metal detector, and of course, trader.

Buried safes have at least 3 titanium, briefcases have 1 titanium. However, on Tangaroa or other places, safes and briefcases are not buried so they are not guaranteed to get titanium. If you save the world before open a safe or briefcase and reload until you get titanium. It might be boring but you get the reward for sure.

Also, you can expand your animal farm with Llamas to get more wool. 8 wool makes 4 trash cubes. DO the math for what you need to get from the trader.

Raft: How To Get Titanium (Top 3 Ways)

Here are 3 ways to get metal ore! This article covers different ways to gather titanium ore. The best way by far that beautiful trade post the developers gave us! You can get 15 titanium ore from the trade post per randomly generated island (with trade post) once you've reach a high enough trading tier. But it does take time to level up your trading, so the metal detector is also an amazing way to get titanium! I have other articles on Raft resource collecting as well!

If this wasn't written already: I heard one can find where a treasure is at, and save before digging it up, then dig it up, and if it didn't give titanium then exit=>load-save=>try-again, if you're willing and find it a legit method.

That’s not really true. I made Tangaroa and Temperance despawn/respawn several times and all the times the Titanium do respawn. Maybe this only happens on Peaceful mode but it has been the case for me. I used these trick to completely fill my raft with advanced equipment.

I hit the jackpot last night, 7 titanium ore in one buried chest! Small island hunting is definitely key.
