.... mmmm .... I do not think they will make a new chapter for now ... they are enjoying the (well deserved money) earned with this beautiful game, with a mega yacht around the world. When they run out of gas maybe ....;))))

I enjoyed this survival game as well, even though I am terrified of the dark, deep oceans lol

I wouldn't mind if they made DLCs for this game where you get to play through a different survivor's point of view with a new standalone story. They could keep most of the themes going, but could add new additions and rule sets.

Originally posted by Quick brain storm as an example:
A survivor named Claire finds themselves stuck on a small island with nothing but a fabric bag and a wallet. Their past is unknown, but a picture of a small family in your wallet reveals you had a parent and a little brother. At the back of the picture there's "18 1121" written on it.

On the starting island you would need to gather some rocks, a few branches from the trees and a few apples to maintain your hunger and thirst for a few hours. While gathering, a loose, damaged boat with a sail gently crashes onto your island and you find a small chest with a compass and a paper mentioning a landmark on South West. You fix the boat and sail towards the direction.

The gathering is done through picking up what you find close to your boat, but as further you go, the count of items increases, to a point, where your boat is slowed down by items in the water that not everything can be looted - this is the location where a lot of past world trash has gathered up, making your boat struggle to go further.

You very slowly approach your very first above-water location that looks like a big prison on a hill. You find a little knife(melee weapon) outside of one of the cell windows and proceed into a rat infested prison to look for any survivors.

I could keep on going and going, but just a random writing as I am bored :winter2019joyfultearsyul:

Curious, I'm over 150 in-game days and I didn't hit the third story location yet, although I have the engines. Is that slow or fast?

This is not a race, take as much time as you need to enjoy the gameplay. If you do want an answer though, I completed the game and 99% of its achievements at around 100 in-game days

I know, I just wanna get a better idea of the perspective of others who see the game as long or short. I'd bet I'm slower than others but I'm always curious by how much.

Myself and my friend took 120 ish to complete it. We didn't rush. We need raft 2 or something to make use of all the titanium blueprints at the end.

I thought the last episode wasn't as fun in some ways. We both can't stand the jumpy jumpy parts of the game or the jump duck jump jump section with the spinning wind sails. Reminds me of the old play station games which I can't stick or like the old Dunky Kong hand held console that I had many years ago. Not my thing at all. The weight system for the cogs is another hated puzzle. Game was good apart from those parts.

One can only hope not. Or at the very least, only after firing everyone who had a hand in writing the final chapter and hiring people that can write a story that A) makes sense and B) has characters that aren't racist stereotypes.

Yikes, that sounds like a strong stretch.
I firmly believe most players are getting this game for the gameplay rather than the story, anyways

I'm only at character 3, but, what are you looking for them to add if I may ask?

I really, really wish it was a stretch. You might call it classist stereotypes, if you wanted to be generous, but after they pillaged the old storyline for this tripe I am not inclined towards generosity.

As to gameplay over story, I agree. The gameplay is much better than the story. It is also inseparable from it since you have to suffer through Aesop's Floating Fables to get all the blueprints for the neat things you can build.
