Best/Most Efficient Raw Material to use in Recycler?

I've been experimenting with the Recycler for quite some time now, my main source of raw material is 6 stacks of palm leaves for 4 trash cubes. I've tried raw metals, plastic, planks, and feathers. But I'm still struggling to keep up with the Recycler eating up all my few leaves. Does anybody know the best/most efficient raw fuel source to use in the recycler?

Eight wool of the llamas make 4 trash cubes. That's the best I guess.

whatever you have a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of that you dont really need anymore, or keep getting more than needed of.
also you can use heads in the biofuel makers as opposed to food. they fill those things up WAY faster. I think one shark head fills it halfway

i keep 4 llamas and have the shears in my hot bar, i can shave them in the morning and night and keep the compacting going with 4 wool each time, if that helps
