Slanted fence?

I've a 1.5 story raft and I'd like to surround it by a fence, but wherever there's stairs I can't put a fence along the stairs, and the stairs that come with railing don't connect to the fence.
Is there any solution or just a case of it is what it is?

can you post a screen shot hard to make suggestions without seeing the fence area.

Most I could suggest might be a roof as these are slanted and can get you some good angles depending where it's being used
