Rhino shark vanished

Has anyone else experienced this? I went through this battle twice already on other profiles but I got going again to on a new raft and was on the first level of the fight had damaged all 4 pillars and destroyed one of them when all of a sudden bam no more Rhino Shark.

Anyone else had this happen? Had to mod my way into the code room so I could move onto Temperance. Just hope I can go back later and defeat the boss so I can get the trophy as already set up a spot for it on my roof!

UPDATE: I respawn Varunga Point and the rhino shark did return but something odd was going on and maybe I missed it in the first run through tonight but the shark kept again stop coming but then I noticed a hole in the ceiling despite columns still holding up the ceiling and when I went through the hole the shark as there as quite odd behavior compared to the very first time I ran through the fight when he behaved as he should!

I have it 3 times and this time here was the 3rd but was just an odd fight as he would take a few knocks at the pillars I would plant the explosives then it's like the explosion knocked him up a level without knocking out the rest of the pillars it was just odd the behavior

this the new patch. Once one pillard is destroyed, the shark goest automatically up.

Maybe on hard mode, cannot verify.

even on normal mode stupid to only have to destroy one pillar I man seriously it wasn't that hard to begin with I passed it without issue the first time around He's easy to dodge hardest part was remembering to grab air

To be honest, the challenge is to get what they want from you, not the fight itself

To be honest, the challenge is to get what they want from you, not the fight itself

the point is hes a boss he's suppose to be tough to beat. He never really as and instead they took an easy fight and made it way to easy now.

I have been through the fight fully 2 times and the last time they wimpified the boss

But it is a pretty casual game in general :D

I was able to get two of the four pillars but was then dying. I left there to get more seaweed for vine goo to make new flippers and O2 before the new patch. I come back and the shark is gone. i don't know how to progress the game now??

EDIT: Nevermind, I now see a giant hole at the top of the ceiling that wasn't there before

yeah thats what happened to me they wimpified the shark where all you nee to do now is destroy a pillar to move on rather then all pillars! They should have never changed this as is suppose to be a boss fight
