Coordinated jumping

I would absolutely love this game, 10 stars, IF it wasn't for all the coordinated jumping required. I would rather pull out the old nintendo and play mario brothers than do this. Any way to bypass?

I have no idea what you mean, i never had any jump problem (and i am not good at jumping puzzle in any game), and when facing some cliff on some island, i spam the jump like a tard in what looks like a place i could climb and itll end to work.
The only place id see would be on one of the island of last update where you have to jump on small pillar, but really the landing zones are bigger than what you see, so it really shouldn't be a problem either..
this game is quite friendly in the difficulty of jumping, the only solution that could help you apart from calming yourself and actually managing the power and distance of your jump, would be to find a cheat with ghost mods or superjump if it exist

Sprint + Jump.

Duck + Jump.

Most games have it.
(even most of your's space, survival, exploration games)

If you Jump and ' Stumbled ', Stand up and Try again.

It's pretty forgiving. So far i havent encountered fatal fall damage despite falling over 50 meters (i went to the very end of the crane because i thought the key might be there, and fell to the building below).

No falling damage doesn't help you when you can't get to where you have to go for the story. I hate jumping puzzles, too, and I almost despaired at ... the first Story island, I think? The Radio Tower? Finally managed after I found out how to toggle to running. Without running it didn't work.

I agree it's something not really mentioned in the ads and descriptions of the game and maybe shouldn't be there because of that.

"Hey, surprise, you have to be good at jumping to continue the game that started with fishing stuff out of the ocean!"

You just build a ramp from Your Raft up to where You want to go ...

I think he means the jumping at utopia whith those turning thingies...
This I also find very annoying.
I think I try to build my way up there. ;-)

I hate jump`n`run games. This is the opposite of a relaxing gameplay, at least to me.

BTW don't do duck-jumps ... duck-key will "dive" you down.

Literally the only time this kind of jumping is required is briefly at Balboa and then in Utopia. You'll overcome. Even for the most casual of gamers it's not a big obstacle

I cannot recommend this game anymore, because I cannot finish it the way I started it.
Anyway, off to the next game!

Since chapter 1, jumping was always needed.
On some small islands, big isands and on every story island.
Only the last jump area at Utopia is a bit more demanding and can be bypassed.

no legit means but there are mods that let you fly and such but if you are trying to get through without using mods then these would not help
