Fishing Locations & Casting
Does it matter where you cast your line for catching certain fish? Or just rng? Also, does it matter how far you cast your line out? It appears it doesn't. However, I could be wrong. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

As far as i know only rod quality effects the quality of fish.

Distance or height have no effect.

yepp the better rod as a higher chance for the better catches thats it, well and ofc using the baits from the trade-posts means you catch the exotic fish not the usual ones for eating
