Лучшая вода - вода
Food: Just take a stack of cooked drumsticks with you, recipes are largely not worth it, take too long to make even with multiple cooking pots, the only locations its somewhat worth it is in story islands, because there is a good chance that you'll loot dishes from the containers so its easyer to maintain the bonus hunger while you're there.
Drinks... why does every bloody recipe take coconuts? And the single one that doesn't takes Milk and Blue Algae... its even more of a hassle than food, not to mention juicers break audio ATM, I rather just take 2 water bottles/canteens or a watermelon stack.
Unless they massively reduce the cooking time (10-20s MAX) or allow you to make them in bulk in a single station, they're more hassle than they're worth.
I will say one of the extra and its swimming faster.
The buffs are nice I guess? I can't see myself bothering with them outside of Hard mode, they're absolutely overkill for normal mode and they go to waste waaay too easily when a huge part of your time is spent on you Raft, sailing and building stuff until you get to the next island, specially because by the time you can comfortably use them large islands are more a matter of dipping in for the buried treasures and them getting the hell out.
Also they're 5, not 3 new meals.
The cost of cooking those meals, however, is ultimately a small improvement over what the ingredients would give you in the first place.
For drink I just use a simple smoothie. If you hit plenty of islands early on, you end up with a surplus of mango's, coconuts and pineapples. 1 mango, 1 pineapple and 2 coconuts is what's needed and keeping on top of it becomes easy. Plus, you'll eventually be planting palm trees or mango trees for more wood anyways, and having 1-2 medium planters for pineapples/melons is also a good thing (Melons for the bio-fuel maker until you have enough goats).
I just use both the simple recipes because all that matters to me is having that extra hunger/thirst bar. I don't care for the buffs or anything as I feel they're kinda "unneeded" unless you're playing on hard mode.
