Engines Moving Slow
Me and my friend had used our old raft save to play the new updates. We have had 6 engines on a raft that would usually require 2-3 engines

When we finished our objective on Temperance we haven't been able to move the raft ever since. I have looked up multiple solutions which had worked for others but not for us (Following solutions which didnt work listed below)

100 Foundations Per Engine
Anchor Isn't Down#
Size of the raft
Direction of the Engines (They are all the same direction i checked lots of times)
Fuel Of Engines
Not Stuck on anything

Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks! :VBOY:

Do you have the engine control stand?

If so cycle it 2-3 times and you should be able to move again.

If you don't have it the build one and cycle it 2-3 times.

ADD: try sails and see what happens.

You double checked to make sure you didn't add any new foundations that put you over the 100/engine limit?

Is there a snowmobile jammed on your raft somewhere perhaps? Or maybe you're stuck on a chunk of ice?

I have looked, there are definetly enough foundations and there are no snowmobiles on the ship

This did not work either and the engines are still moving slow

Log out and back in. I’ve had issues with that, and it fixed it.

The log out/log in usually fixed it for me temporarily. I thought my slowdowns were related to tabbing out of the game but after playing around I think it was due to the advanced anchor.

Dropping anchor via the engine control stand and then lifting it again if the engines were on seemed to leave the engines thinking I was still anchored even after stop/start/reverse.
Removing the anchor/engine controller and then placing them down again seemed to have fixed it long term...no idea if that was coincidence or a patch.

I had 2 engines going slow and the same happened when I upped my raft to 4 engines as a test (when 2 was plenty) so it definitely wasn't a power issue.

I was stuck last night. I ended up deleting both anchors (old one and new one), then placing only the new one.

After that, I toggled the anchor control up, down and up, and the ship moved as expected.
